Garmon v. State – 44 Fla. Supp. 158 (1977) Process of suspending driver’s licenses in Dade County ruled illegal. (See Miami News – January 21, 1977)

United States v. Norman DuPont – Case # 99-122-CR-T-17C. Middle District of Florida 1999- 2000. First case dismissed for government misconduct in the federal system in the Middle District of Florida. (See Tampa Tribune – February 26, 2000)

Johnson v. State – 561 So. 2d 1139, 1990. Supreme Court rules drug profiling illegal in the State of Florida

State v. Sobrino, Case No. 89-2540, 587 So. 2d 1347 (Third District 1991) Arrest by police officer outside his jurisdiction ruled illegal.

Caplan v. State, 531 So. 2d 88 (Florida Supreme Court) Search of Caplan’s car ruled illegal by the Florida Supreme Court, reversing the District Court of Appeal

Malcolm v. State, 605 So. 2d 945 (Third District 1992) Writ of Error Coram Nobis granted reversing the trial court which had ruled motion was out of time. Court held “justice must prevail over injustice”
